TIGS Presents Acorn Lawyers Prize for Dux of the School 2016
This year, the Illawarra Grammar Schools' "Acorn Lawyers Prize for Dux of the School" has been awarded to Year 12 Graduate ChakKui (Gordon) Yen. The Dux of the school receives a share of $2,500 to not only reward him for his hard work, but also encourages an ongoing commitment to learning.
As a modern business, we believe that, schools and universities are the perfect breeding grounds of tomorrow's leaders and strive to participate in the process of their development. One of the ways in which we do so is through Acorn Lawyers Leaders Scholarship. We believe that our Scholarships not only celebrate the students' achievements and encourage their leadership qualities.
To win this award is no easy feat; it requires students to find a well-rounded balance between academic work and non-academic work. Acorn Lawyers would like to congratulate Gordon on this fantastic achievement and wish him all the best for the future.
